Mark Petrakis began producing
websites in 1994 to coincide with the
launch of Wired Magazine's Hotwired
website. He was senior producer for
a global community website, Electric
Minds, which was named one of Time magazine's
best websites of 1997. He has been an
associate for 10 years with the Institute
for the Future where he produced many
conferences and directed presenters
across the U.S. and in Asia.
Mark has worked as a consultant to a
host of large corporations and organizations,
including Ameritech, Apple Computer,
Ariba Software, the U.N.'s World Heritage
Organization, the Robert Wood Johnson
Foundation, the California Endowment,
TechTV and The Disney Corporation.
An early convert to digital media, Mark
has consistently worn many hats, including
those of producer, writer, actor and
talent director on many game, story,
learning products and corporate radio
programs. He is also a partner in Anon
Salon, which raises large-scale public
events.
